She is a board member of the National Forum of Black Public Administrators. For six years, she was the Education Chair. In this role she was responsible for Public Administration Day and the Scholarship Committee. During the six years over 450 youth from Austin Independent School District, Del Valle and Pflugerville High School have been exposed to the field of Public Administration
Deborah E. Britton is the Chief Deputy for the Travis County Health and Human Services Department since 2016. Ms. Britton is the Past-President (2009-2012) of the Central Texas Chapter of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators and currently serves on the NFBPA CTC Board of Directors.
Trena Carter is a Business Process Specialist for Austin Energy with the City of Austin. Trena received her Bachelors of Science degree in Management from Park University – She received her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and her Masters of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Project Management from the Park University – Austin campus.
