We believe NFBPA is the nation’s most progressive and results-oriented organization for African-American public servants. The NFBPA is committed to delivering high-quality public service while advancing Black leadership across communities and the nation.
The Central Texas Chapter (CTC) is one of over 40 local chapters represented in 300+ jurisdictions nationwide. With approximately 50 active members, our chapter continues to grow and innovate.

About the CTC Region

The NFBPA Central Texas Chapter (CTC) serves a diverse and rapidly growing region that includes both urban centers and rural communities. Our reach extends across five primary counties:
• Travis County
• Hayes County
• Williamson County
• Bell County
• Bastrop County
These counties form the heart of Central Texas, a region known for its economic strength, cultural vibrancy, and demographic diversity. The area includes major metropolitan cities as well as emerging communities where public service professionals play a crucial role in shaping equitable growth.

The chapter supports public administrators, civic leaders, and community members working across cities and towns to create inclusive and thriving communities.
We also engage and support other growing communities throughout the region that may be smaller in population but are equally vital to our mission and the fabric of Central Texas.
